Deborah
Heath has a passion for health. She has incorporated exercise
into her lifestyle for over 30 years. Over that time, she
has done this in a variety of ways: running, racquetball,
swimming, skiing, roller blading, Tai Chi, yoga, Nautilus
weight training, aerobics and Jazzercise, to name a few. Aside
from these, her greatest passion is dance.
Although
she has studied ballet, tap and jazz, her favorite over
the past 20 years has been modern dance. These days, she
can also be seen hiking or speed walking with her hand weights
in various places in Valley Center or at Daley Ranch in
Escondido. Because of this lifelong commitment to her health
and well being, she has recently completed the course work
necessary to obtain her personal training certificate.
She joins Valley Center Fitness by offering an introductory
yoga class, Yoga Startup, and a Creative Movement class
for Kids. Her yoga class is designed for beginners with
an emphasis on modifying the postures to fit a person's
level of ability.
Creative
Movement can be thought of as a precursor to dance training
in that it taps into fun, imaginative, and creative ways
to communicate an idea while moving through space with a
focus on the energy, or quality of movement, that is chosen.
Deb's
greatest pleasure comes from helping people get up, get
motivated, and get going on healthy choices for overall
wellness and longevity.

Hello!
My name is Carri Wiatt,
Like some of you, I started yoga in my living room, watching
it on television. I was hooked, and wanted to learn more.
So I sought out a local Yoga Teacher Training School, Mount
Madonna Center near Watsonville, Ca, and became a yoga instructor.
In addition to starting my mobile yoga business in October
2005, I began teaching at World Gym in January 2006.
Adding on to my instruction calendar, I started teaching
at Yoga In The Vines, a studio in Atascadero, in October
2006.
I then began teaching at Kennedy Club Fitness in San Luis
Obispo County January 2007. I
continued instructing at all of the above locations until
I moved to San Diego County in spring of 2009.
I
am an RYT200, which means I completed a 200 hour yoga teacher
training program, and am registered with The Yoga Alliance.
I
also am CPR/AED certified and have Basic First Aid training,
both are current and up-to-date.
